Throw nothing out!

I can't tell you how many times I threw out the plastic packaging from my last Sizzix Die purchase and then on recycling day dug it back out of the trash. Deep down I guess I knew that I could create something amazing with it, I just needed the perfect project. I love using my Bigshot machine and Bigz dies with all kinds of different materials. So I decided to play with one of my favorite Tim Holtz Christmas dies, the Tattered Poinsettia, and the clear plastic packaging from my Bigz die. The "Tattered Poinsettia Glass Ornament" is my latest creation to be featured on Ranger Inks website. You can click on the link and learn how you can create this beautiful Christmas ornament with Stickles Dry Fine Glitter and Glossy Accents.

For the Love of Snowman

When I first saw the Tim Holtz's Sketched Blueprint Stamps at CHA I fell in love. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Winter set that had the Snowman and Snowflake sketch stamps in it. So when Ranger Ink had a call for Winter projects I knew just which products I wanted to play/create with.

Here is my latest tutorial that has been selected to be featured on Ranger Ink's website. This project is chalked full of all things Ranger and Distress for this Winter card. The stamp set is by Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous. I then used lots Distress Ink Pads, Distress Markers and Distress Stickles. Head on over to Ranger Ink's website to check out my step by step tutorial with photos on how to complete this Distress Snowman Card.

Distress Boo Tag Tutorial featured on Ranger Ink

You could hear the screams of excitement from my house a mile away when I learned that my tutorial had been selected to be featured on Ranger Ink's website. I played with all things Distress for this Halloween themed tag. I used lots of Sizzix dies designed by Tim Holtz, Distress Ink Pads, Distress Stains, Distress Paint, Distress Glitter, Distress Embossing Powder and Distress Stickles. Head on over to Ranger Ink's website to check out my step by step tutorial with photos on how to complete this Distress Boo Tag.
