Altered Burlap Panel: CC3 Challenge 6 #CC3C

I've had so much fun each week playing along with the CC3 Challenges. I'm always working on classes and samples and rarely get to work on projects for myself. So, I've committed/forced myself to do each challenge for myself and not skip a one. I have to admit this week was hard to find motivation to complete the task at hand, since I'm still playing catch up from being on vacation. But I feel like it's going to the gym. If you miss one day then it's easier to miss the second day. So I buckled down and decided to play with some Idea-ology products that I had been hoarding for that perfect project. You know what I'm talking about, we all have those stashes.

I loved playing with the "Found Relatives" from Tim Holtz's last release. The vintage pictures are so cute and I don't feel guilty cutting them up and coloring them like I do with my own old family photos.

Thank you to The Funkie Junki Boutique for the chance to win a $25 shopping spree. It's always fun to get new goodies to play with and create fun art.

Holiday Joy Tag

The first Make N Take that I participated in was at the Idea-Ology booth. I love how easy all of the Tim Holtz products are to use and how it all matches and works together so easy. Products used in this tag are from Idea-Ology, Ranger, Sizzix, Stampers Anonymous and Tonic.

The wreath at the top of the tag is a hot new item form Idea-Ology. They come white and you can then spray and mist them any color you would like. Just mix a little reinker with water in a mini mister and spray. We misted this one green and covered it with glue and seal and the new rock candy loose glitter. LOVE!

Another favorite is the mirrored "Joy." This product comes by the sheet and you can die cut shapes and letters out of it using your Big Shot and Bigz Dies. It then has adhesive on the back, so you just peel and stick.

I also can't forget the number one seller for our store, the crinkle ribbon. Tim seams to use this on everything he makes. It comes white and you can color it with any of the mist, ink pads or stains to make it match you project. I also now see him using his tinsel  just as often. You can even color it with alcohol inks.

Time to Kreate and Inspire

I Love the all the metal pieces in the idea-ology line by Tim Holtz. This was a fun little project that I made using the pocket watch, paper, mini gears and chitchat stickers from the CHA Winter release. The minie gears even spin and move when you lock them in to each other.
