Dyan Reaveley-Dylusions Artist Returns to Scrapbook-N-Memories

Dyan is Returning to Scrapbook-N-Memories. We are so excited to announce that we have Ranger Ink signature designer Dyan Reaveley with Dylusions products, coming to teach again for 2 extraordinary art journaling days! If you have not had the pleasure of learning from Dyan, you must come join us for some fun amazing classes! Not only is she an amazing artist, but as I have gotten to know her she has one of the biggest hearts and FAB personality!

Mixed Media Artist Dyan Reaveley’s unique eclectic style comes through in her vibrant color combinations of inks and paints, using text as an insightful design element and the clever use of imagery in her artwork. Dyan teaches and demos with Ranger and is known for her creativity with layering color, images and thought-provoking collages.

Dyan owns and operates a teaching and design studio Art from the Heart in Harrogate, in the north of England. Dyan’s mission is to introduce everyone to the fabulous therapy that is art journaling and creating mixed-media art.

Students will appreciate that the materials are included in each class (only thing that we recommend bringing to class is a large package of baby wipes and a roll or two of paper towels).  We suggest that you wear clothing that is ok to get stained, or an apron.  You may bring food in to eat between classes.

REGISTRATION OPENS, Tuesday December 13th @ 11:00 am! Seats are limited, so call 816-884-3273 or drop your registration in the mail today! Payments can be mailed to the store. Spots will not be held without payment in full.

Art Journaling: Expanding the Page
Saturday, 02/04/2017, 9:30a-6:00p, Class fee:$145 (Includes a square Dylusions journal)

Join Dyan Reavely in this all day class to take your art journaling to the next level. We will spend less time on learning the techniques and more time on creating finished pages in the square journal. A blend of inks, paints, collage, writing, doodling, imagery, a touch of sparkle and a pinch of oomph!!!

Lunch:  Because this class is all day, and time for lunch is limited, participants may choose to bring lunch.

Anatomy of a Page
Sunday, 02/04/2017, 9:00a-1:00p, Class fee:$70
Intrigued by the art journaling phenomena but unsure where to start? Do the pages look too complicated for you to even contemplate where to begin? Then this is the class for you. Dyan will be breaking down the journal page into easy bite sized steps, taking you from start to finish with ease.
All materials are included.  Students will be working on the Mixed Media cardstock.  But, if you prefer, you can bring along your own Dylusions large journal in which to work.

Introducing Tags and Texture
Sunday, 02/05/2017, 2:00p-6:00p, Class fee: $70
Don’t settle for flat journal pages!! Learn how to add texture and interest with tags, flaps and pockets. With a quick fold here and a little tear there, here a tag there a tag, every page so tactile. Bring your pages to life with the touchy feely treatment

All materials are included. Students will be working on the Mixed Media cardstock. But if you prefer, you can bring along your own Dylusions large journal in which to work.
